Weekend Away

We ended up having a fantastic weekend away, better than I had hoped for to be honest. We were bringing all three kids plus one of B's friends so I wasn't really planning on it being a fun "adult" weekend. P was his usual optimist self though and packed some lube along with the paddle and nipple clamps I bought and reviewed a few weeks ago. I had laughed at him while we were packing. I was pretty sure that even in a three bedroom condo we wouldn't have any privacy with all of the lovely teenagers running around. Lets face it the odds of all four kids heading out at the same time were slim to none.  Especially since we were only staying for 2 nights, when would we find the time to play? I was honestly just looking forward to spending some uninterrupted time all together in a beautiful place, seriously the White Mountains are fantastic.

After a 3 &1/2 hour drive we finally made it to the resort. It was a little after 9pm when we checked in and everyone was tired. Oh and we hadn't stopped for dinner along the way so some of us were a little cranky too. On our way to the room, H mentioned in passing that she wondered if they had remodeled since the last time we visited. We had reserved a 3 bedroom unit (there were 7 of us) but the building we were assigned to had only been 1 and 2 bedroom units the last time we stayed. When we got to the room we were upset to find out that it was only a 2 bedroom unit. In the moment this was something we were all very upset about. We had been looking forward to settling in for the night and it felt like that was never going to happen. H had made the reservation so she called down to the front desk and was very upset to find out that all the 3 bedroom units were taken for the next week.  They apologized for the mistake but all they could offer us was a 1 bedroom unit next-door to the 2 bedroom we were already booked into free of charge, of course.  At this point it hadn't hit us that really this was a huge stroke of luck for the grown ups. We had the kids stay in the 2 bedroom and decided to make all the meals and hang out there with them during our down time, but the three of us would spend our nights/mornings (because teenagers sleep later) in our own little condo. We ended up ordering pizza for the kids and getting sandwiches for the adults for dinner then retired to our condo around 11pm.

Queue Play Time!!  It was so much fun to have our own condo to go to. I spent the entire time in the room naked, which I love. There was lots of sex, spanking, play rape (poor P, 2 against one and he was forced to perform twice in one session) and cuming. I really love -but hate- those clover clamps (for the record my nipples are still slightly sore) and the little paddle/flogger combo is a ton of fun, stingy or teasing depending on how it's being used and small enough to travel with easily.

In between all the adult fun we had a ton of family fun too. We went to Whales Tale Water Park for the day Saturday, then Sunday we spent exploring the Kancamagus. As often as we go to Lincoln and over the Kanc we always manage to find something new along the trails. This time it was swimming at both Otter Rock and Lower Falls. In all the years we've been going it's never occurred to us to swim. Picnic, hike, photograph and generally enjoy, yes. Jump in and swim? No. We honestly didn't even know it was allowed. For the record, it is unless there are clearly "NO SWIMMING" signs posted. It is swim at your own risk because there are no life guards and of course everyone should use some common sense. If the river is flowing really fast and you're not a great swimmer stay out or just wade around a bit, if you're there alone or with just one other person, play it safe and stay out. But there were 7 of us and 6 of us are good strong swimmers so we felt safe jumping in. There hasn't been much rain this year so the river wasn't flowing super fast, I might have thought twice about going in if it was flowing as fast as it normally does. Just because you never know what might happen and I like to land on the overly safe side of things when it comes to the kids.

Everyone came home exhausted and happy, just what we were hoping for.

We really need to get away more often...here's hoping we can make that happen ;-)
